In Thailand, National Teacher's Day is celebrated every year, on January
16. The day was adopted as Teachers' Day in the island nation, by a
resolution of the government on November 21, 1956. The first Teachers'
Day was held in 1957. The day is declared as a holiday in schools.

The National Children’s Day is celebrated
in Thailand this coming Saturday, 14th January 2012, with functions and
activities organized for children’s enjoyment and learning all through
the day.
It has become a custom for the Prime
Minister as head of the administration to give a slogan for the National
Children’s Day, setting the tone for the administration’s child
development policy. This year, Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra gave
the slogan as “ Unity, knowledge, with wisdom, maintenance of Thainess
and interest in technology”.

U Smile (Thailand) Company Limited-Bangkok, which is a proprietor of U Smile Photo and U Smile Kids, will be offering their photography service to all students during this year. This year's service comes earlier than last year to ensure that purchased items will arrive by 15th February 2012.
The service will be conducted at the meeting room, on 3rd floor of REPS 2 on 7-8-9th December 2011 by professional photographers and an experienced management team. There will be individual and class photos taken on 7-8-9th December.
There will also be an opportunity for parents who would like to have a fancy dress photo taken of their child. Family or group photos are also available on 7-8th December from 3.30 - 4.30 p.m. and on 9th December from 1.40 - 4.30 p.m. Fancy dress is available free of charge for kindergarten and primary and one dress change per child is permitted.
A sample photo will be delivered to each student together with a special price catalog and order form (see products available online at www.usmilekids.com). You can keep sample photo FREE of charge and payment is NOT required unless you place an order.

We celebrate Fathers’ day every year and this year it will be held on Friday 2nd December, 2011 from 8:30–12:00 a.m. in the GIS hall on the 3rd floor.
REPS will organize activities for the event to recognize how important
and loving our students are to their fathers. The program will extend
love, gratitude, and gratefulness to all fathers.

Packed foods are available in the canteen at 10:30 a.m. - School buses will take students home after the football games have finished at 12.30 p.m.

The Ordinary National Educational Test (O-Net) has been postponed to
February 15 for sixth graders and February 16-17 for ninth graders.
The test results will be released on 2012, March 31, Minister of Education, Mr. Woravat Auapinyakul said on Thursday. |

Rayong
English Programme School welcomed General Chainarong Jareonrak,
commander of the Sattahip Naval Base along with the other senior
military officers on November 8 to receive donations given by REPS parents, teachers and students.

Mr.
Prakong Chitrath, school director and Mr. David Goldsack, school
principal, handed out relief supplies as well as plastic boats, all
donated for the flood victims.
A total of 45,000 baht was raised. The school would like to thank the parents and the teachers for their kindness and generosity
